An Owl and Her Boy
Mar. 26th, 2019 05:31 pmHedwig was a clever girl, quicker than most owls and even some people.
One fateful day, she’d been taken out of the Eeylops Owl Emporium. Cage set down by Hagrid in front of a very small, very astonished wizard, she’d fallen in love with Harry’s wide green eyes and untidy jet-black hair. He was her boy, and she’d fly anywhere for him.
Hedwig was returning from France the night Aunt Marge had blown up. She circled Number Four anxiously, unable to find him. But if she couldn’t find him here, he’d find her where they first met. So, in a single, deft movement, she pivoted toward Diagon Alley, wingbeats resounding on the crisp midnight air.
